IRD 4090 12G-SDI
Ultra High Definition Integrated Receiver Decoder designed to meet the highest quality requirements for excellent HDTV, UHDTV 4K (optional), and radio reception.
The IRD 4090 features flexible tuner configurations to receive DVB-S/S2/S2X, DVB-C/C2, and DVB-T/T2/HEVC signals. Two integrated Common Interface (CI) slots (optional) enable the decoding of various Conditional Access Modules (CAMs) to decrypt Pay-TV channels.
Up to two audio streams (Audio L/R, AC3 Dolby Digital) can be simultaneously embedded into the 12G-SDI signal via the integrated matrix. Furthermore, the device optionally supports sinking an ASI input signal (ASI-IN) or sourcing an ASI output signal (ASI-OUT).
All device settings can be configured via the integrated web server (HTTP/HTTPS) or the front-panel graphical display. The display serves as a control monitor for live program playback and features a stereo volume unit (VU) meter for audio monitoring. Additionally, real-time RF signal level measurements are accessible directly from the front panel.
Integrated Ethernet (Telnet/SSH) and RS-232 interfaces provide comprehensive bidirectional control, ensuring seamless integration of the IRD 4090 into existing control systems. These interfaces allow users to manage program names and logos, as well as retrieve detailed program information, EPG data, and other metadata. Additionally, SNMP support with Traps ensures seamless telemetry and real-time status monitoring within existing broadcast Network Management Systems (NMS).
Received tuner programs can be streamed over the IP network via the 1 Gbps Ethernet interface (optional) as either SPTS (Single Program Transport Stream) or MPTS (Multi-Program Transport Stream).
